Lead Mentor for Emerald Class, Science Mentor for Mother Earth Mondays & Friday Explorations.
Bridget is inspired by love, life and learning and working with children fulfills that inspiration and more! As a child she grew up traveling; she lived in Houston, Czechoslovakia, and Canada, graduated from high school in Paris, France and moved straight to Austin where she graduated from Texas State University-San Marcos with a BS in Marine Biology and a MS degree in Aquatic Biology/Water Resource Management. For the past 15 years she has taught in a diverse array of environments and age groups, from being faculty at Texas State University, to teaching children biology. She was the supervisor of one of the largest underwater habitat conservation projects in the country and she also taught SCUBA. After becoming a mother to two beautiful sons, she took classes and did training in early childhood development and she started working at a Waldorf inspired pre-school and became the lead teacher for the Austin Waldorf School's Summer-garden.
She is dedicated to the personal growth of each unique child and for them to feel nurtured, loved and supported on their journey, mind, body and spirit. She loves to spend time with her amazing husband Gabe and her two sons, Kai and Zane. They enjoy hiking, swimming, camping, trips to the beach, organic/ biodynamic gardening, storytelling, magical adventures, baking and cooking, art and crafting!
